The submerged slurry pump is a vertical single-stage single suction cantilever centrifugal pump structure. The impeller is a semi open impeller, and there are stirring blades at the extension of the impeller suction side. It is mainly used in environmental protection, municipal engineering, thermal power plant, coal gas coking plant, oil refinery, steel-making plant, mining, paper industry, cement plant, food factory, printing and dyeing industry to suck the flowing sludge of thick liquid, heavy oil, oil residue, dirty liquid, mud, mortar, quicksand and flowing sludge of urban sewage ditch, as well as the fluid and corrosive liquid containing mud and sand residue.

Models are available in sizes ranging from 40mm to 250mm discharge and are capable of flow rates from 5 to 350 litres per second (79-5540 USGPM) at heads of up to 40 metres (130ft). The heavy duty design of the MSP pumps allows the passage of large particles with a diameter of up to 50mm
