Stainless steel vertical multistage pump is a kind of multistage centrifugal pump made of stainless steel with a vertical structure design. They can achieve high head output through multiple impellers connected in series and are widely used in the transportation of weakly corrosive liquids.
Core structure
Pump body and impeller: Stainless steel vertical multistage pump's main parts-like the pump casing, impeller and shaft-are usually made of 304 or 316 stainless steel.They can handle weak acidic or alkaline liquids effectively. The impellers are designed with a multi-stage configuration-often ranging from 2 to 10 stages. Each stage connects in a line to build up more pressure.
Vertical layout: The motor sits on top of the pump body. It's installed straight up, so it doesn't take extra space side to side. That makes it good for tight spots or equipment rooms between floors.
Sealing system: The primary method used is mechanical sealing (such as single- or double-sided mechanical seals) to prevent media leakage. This is primarily suitable for normal to moderate temperature operating conditions ranging from 30 to 120°C.
Advantages
High corrosion resistance: Since it's made of stainless steel (either 304 or 316), it can handle weakly acidic or alkaline fluids-those with a pH between 4 and 10. That includes things like rainwater, chemical wastewater, and food processing liquids. It won't rust or get corroded easily.
High head adaptability: The multi-stage impeller design works for moving fluids that need high pressure. For example, it's used to supply water to tall buildings, move water through long pipes, and circulate high-pressure liquids in industrial work.
The vertical design only needs one-third to half the space of a horizontal pump. So it's perfect for tight spots, like basements and rooftops.
Stable operation: The motor and pump shaft line up really well. That means less vibration and quieter operation-usually no louder than 75dB.The impeller also boasts high dynamic and static balance precision, with a service life of 8-10 years (under regular maintenance).
