HANDLING, STORAGE, PACKAGING, AND DELIVERY
4.0 General.
12.1 Procedures that will be followed to facilitate DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump. And control the movement of materials, Products, and parts are applied to ensure that deterioration and damage will be prevented during handling, storage, Packing, and delivery. Methods to be used for authorising receipt and dispatch secure conformance to specified customer requirements. The process to be flowed will provide protection and the quality of the product, ensure that the materials, products or parts do not miss any critical inspection stage and will apply to the point of delivery to the customer.
12.2 Handling.
12.2.1. a. All supplies received at DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump. Will be placed in the lay down area, after allocation of a receipt, inspection, traceability, number (GRN) Goods Received Number and accepted by the nominated person/persons.
b. Where materials or products require special Protection to avoid damage or deterioration procedures will be implemented to ensure protection. Handling procedures will also include lifting, refrigeration, inhibiting, and segregation requirements as applicable.
12.3. Storage:
12.3.1 a. All accepted incoming supplies will be placed in the store for storage in a manner appropriate for the prevention of damage, deterioration, substitution and un-authorised use.
b. Life listed items such as sealants and adhesives will be stored separately, in an environmentally controlled condition in a manner specified by the manufacturer and issued on a first in first out basis. Life listed items will be subjected to a periodic review to asses retest requirements.
