1. Installation location
1) The installation position of the multistage centrifugal pump should be as close to the water source as possible to reduce the suction head and shorten the length of the suction pipe.
2) Choose a bright, dry and clean place for the pump room to facilitate maintenance and inspection;
In addition, the space required for disassembly inspection must be reserved, especially in the case of multiple multi-stage pumps, the mutual spacing, layout, etc., must be fully studied.
3) When considering flood control, the top surface of the installation foundation should be made higher than the flood level;
Or arrange the motor and electrical equipment in a safe place.
4) Measuring instruments, etc. should be placed in a place that is easy to see during start-up operation.
5) For mining multi-stage pumps, the pump suction port is installed at the upper part of the screen position in the well to avoid sucking in the sediment.
6) Accurate calculation is required when determining the installation height.
2. The installation basis
1) In order to absorb vibration and firmly support the pump frame, the foundation of the multistage centrifugal pump should have sufficient strength and size.
2) The weight of the foundation itself: for the type of direct motor connection, it is more than 3 times the total weight of the unit;
The type of direct engine connection is more than 5 times the total weight of the unit.
3) In the case of weak foundation, use wooden pile or concrete pile for foundation treatment.
4) When the motor and multistage centrifugal pump are directly connected for transmission, try to use the whole foundation.
5) During the freezing period in winter, the bearing capacity of the ground surface should be reduced if it is frozen. Therefore, the depth of the foundation is deeper than the depth of the frozen soil.
6) When using the two-story floor as the foundation, pay attention to make the center of the foundation coincide with the center of the beam or make it span on two beams, and as close as possible to the wall of the building.
7) Install the pump after the foundation concrete is fully hardened in about two weeks.
8) For the need of horizontal correction between the pump frame and the base concrete, a gap of 10 to 30 mm is left. At the same time, the top of the base concrete is not smoothed with a trowel, and the unevenness is left as it is. 9) The holes of the anchor bolts are square holes large enough.
10) After the concrete is completely hardened, tighten the nuts of the anchor bolts.
3: In addition to the general requirements when installing the multistage centrifugal pump, the following points should also be noted:
1) The foundation plane where the pump is installed should be leveled with a spirit level. After the foundation cement is set, check whether the base and anchor bolt holes are loose;
2) After the motor, pump and base are assembled, the concentricity of the pump shaft and the motor shaft should be strictly checked to ensure that the center lines of the two shafts are on the same horizontal line;
3) When assembling the motor and the multi-stage centrifugal pump, ensure that the axial clearance of the end faces of the two couplings of the pump and the motor is 3mm.
4) The multi-stage centrifugal pump can only bear its own internal force and cannot bear any external force, so the suction line and the pressure line of the pump should have their own brackets to avoid crushing the pump.
5) MD (P) type pumps used in mines containing flammable and explosive gases must use explosion-proof motors and require corresponding protection levels and explosion-proof marks.
