Purchasing
6.0 General.
6.1 The Managing Director / office Manager of DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump shall all be responsible for the purchasing activities of the Company.
These nominated personal shall qualify and select suppliers to Milestone International engineering by ensuring the following:
a. Purchased product conforms to the specified requirements.
b. The suppliers shall display the ability to meet contract requirements including Quality Systems.
c. The supplier’s ability and previously demonstrated capability and performances are recorded.
d. The ultimate selection of a suitable supplier shall be dependant on the type of products and the nature and extent of Quality Control is exercised by this supplier.
DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump, shall record a list of acceptable subcontractors. This list should be stored in the Document register.
6.2 Purchasing Data.
6.2.1 When purchasing items for DEPUMP (CHINA) Pump the nominated person shall ensure the following is defined on the purchasing Document.
a. The precise Identification and accurate description of the goods.
b. All relevant data to specifications, drawings, process requirements, inspection criteria and Technical data.
c. All applicable requirements for approval or qualification of the product, Procedure, process equipment and personal.
